About skiing in Courchevel
Courchevel has six villages with different ski access and accommodation styles. The 600 km piste figure describes the full Les 3 Vallées, not one Courchevel village. Make sure the pass and lift network you intend to use correspond to your lodging and skiing ability.
Ski areas and terrain
Courchevel 1850
High village and major lift hub; not the same arrival as Moriond or Le Praz.
Courchevel Moriond and Village
Separate accommodation and ski access sectors linked into the wider Courchevel area.
Le Praz and La Tania
Lower villages with forested approaches and their own lift or shuttle access.
Piste difficulty: Family learning terrain is available near several village fronts. Strong skiers can explore higher and steeper pistes, but the long inter-valley links have lift closing times and return-route implications.
Planning your arrival: Always put the village altitude or name in the transfer booking, not just Courchevel.
