About skiing in Morzine

Morzine gives access to the Morzine–Les Gets network and links toward the much larger Portes du Soleil. The 120 km local figure is different from the wider cross-border domain; check which ski pass you are buying and whether lifts connecting sectors are open.

Ski areas and terrain

Pléney and Nyon

Main access from central Morzine towards the Morzine–Les Gets slopes, with a range of family and intermediate runs.

Super-Morzine

Gondola departure from the other side of town toward the Avoriaz side; confirm the lift and return timetable.

Prodains and Ardent

Valley access points toward Avoriaz reached by local transport or a separate road trip, not by walking from the centre.

Piste difficulty: The Pléney and Nyon sides offer mixed pistes; beginners should check the nursery area and lesson meeting place. The Super-Morzine lift reaches the higher Avoriaz-facing side, where snow and wind can differ from village level.

Planning your arrival: Choose a hotel near the lift or shuttle stop you expect to use; Morzine village is not ski-in/ski-out everywhere.
