Albany International Airport to ski resorts

Flying into Albany International Airport for a ski holiday

Albany International Airport (ALB) is in Colonie, northwest of Albany, New York. It is a practical arrival airport for southern Vermont, including Stratton and Mount Snow, and for longer trips to Okemo and Killington. These resorts have different access roads and base areas, so a booking to Manchester or Rutland does not complete the ski journey. ALB lists Vermont Translines buses along the Vermont corridor, alongside taxis, shuttles and car hire. Match the bus stop and final mountain connection to your flight rather than choosing a service only because it says Vermont. A direct vehicle can be useful for late landings, several ski bags or accommodation away from the town bus network. When choosing an arrival time, you can compare flights to Albany International Airport and check whether it leaves enough time for the last coach or train into the mountains.
