ARRIVAL CHECKLISTBefore leaving Boston Logan International Airport
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is on Boston Harbor and has several terminals with separate ground-transport stops. It is a long-distance gateway for Loon Mountain, Bretton Woods, Cannon Mountain, Waterville Valley and Sunday River. Concord Coach Lines serves New Hampshire towns from Logan, including Lincoln, Plymouth and Franconia on suitable services; those stops are not ski bases. A reserved final ride is essential where no useful local connection exists. Sunday River in western Maine requires a different road approach. Compare the complete trip from your terminal to your lodging rather than just a city-to-city bus fare. Keep a flight-delay buffer and confirm whether the last onward departure works after baggage collection.
- Check New Hampshire 511 or New England 511 before the mountain leg. I-93, US 302 and Maine approach roads can have different conditions from Boston. Allow extra time for weekend traffic and snow.
- Confirm the terminal, hotel address and ski luggage before booking.
- Keep enough time between landing and a fixed onward departure.
