ARRIVAL CHECKLISTBefore leaving Podgorica Airport
Podgorica Airport (TGD) is south of Montenegro’s capital and serves two different winter mountain corridors. Kolašin is reached northward toward Bjelasica, where the 1450 and 1600 ski bases sit outside the town. Žabljak and Savin Kuk are in the Durmitor area and use a longer road approach. Podgorica city has the useful intercity bus and railway connections; the terminal itself is not a mountain transport hub. The nearby Aerodrom railway halt is separate from the terminal, so a city-station pickup can be easier with children and ski bags. Compare complete journeys to the lift base rather than only tickets to a town.
- A town arrival still leaves a mountain leg. Confirm a cleared hotel approach, ski-bag capacity and the open winter road. Do not use a summer Durmitor high-pass shortcut without current road confirmation.
- Confirm the terminal, hotel address and ski luggage before booking.
- Keep enough time between landing and a fixed onward departure.
