ARRIVAL CHECKLISTBefore leaving Václav Havel Airport Prague
Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) lies west of Prague and is an international gateway to Špindlerův Mlýn, Harrachov and Pec pod Sněžkou in the Krkonoše Mountains. The airport’s regular public connection uses bus or trolleybus followed by the metro; there is no railway platform at the passenger terminals. Line 59 reaches Nádraží Veleslavín on metro A, while line 100 reaches Zličín on metro B. Many mountain-coach plans use Černý Most, also on metro B, but the booked ticket determines the actual departure point. Build the airport-to-coach connection into the total journey time and allow for ski bags on city transport.
- Reserve the mountain leg where the operator allows it and check ski-luggage rules. Town stops, lift bases and high mountain lodges have different access arrangements; request a hotel pickup for a late arrival.
- Confirm the terminal, hotel address and ski luggage before booking.
- Keep enough time between landing and a fixed onward departure.
