At the airport
The airport lists ground-transport providers and pickup arrangements. Reserve the correct North or South Tahoe service and check its actual stop list. Agree ski-bag space and the final hotel connection before buying the ticket.
Reno–Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is southeast of downtown Reno and serves ski trips on both sides of Lake Tahoe. North Lake Tahoe Express covers a reserved northern corridor toward Truckee and selected North Tahoe stops; South Tahoe Airporter serves a different route toward South Lake Tahoe and Stateline. Mt. Rose is much closer to the airport along the Mt. Rose Highway. A coach to a Tahoe hotel is not automatically a drop-off at every lift entrance. Heavenly, Northstar and Palisades Tahoe each have distinct arrival areas. Choose the accommodation address before reserving transport, and leave a buffer for winter pass-road conditions. When choosing an arrival time, you can compare flights to Reno–Tahoe International Airport and check whether it leaves enough time for the last coach or train into the mountains.

Check Nevada 511 and Caltrans QuickMap for the chosen road. Tahoe journeys can cross the Nevada–California state line; snowy I-80 and US 50 conditions may disrupt shared services.
These approximate road distances help you shortlist a destination. The exact distance depends on your hotel and the road used; check live directions before travel.
