COMPLETE TRAVEL GUIDE
How to get from Iași International Airport to Durău
Iași Airport to Durău reaches a village winter base below Ceahlău rather than a mountain summit or a large verified ski domain. Durău Park’s published offering changes seasonally, so confirm actual snow activities and equipment before travelling for skiing. Public transport requires a dated regional plan and an arranged last ride; an airport bus by itself does not start a through ski service. For an evening flight or a short stay, a direct road pickup may be easier than a sequence of widely spaced departures.
Book the Durău hotel or park entrance, not Ceahlău summit. Confirm the actual winter activity and return pickup; mountain hiking transport is a separate arrangement.

Durău is a village base beside the Ceahlău mountain area. Durău Park’s current published map describes a seasonal activity offering, so it should not be used as proof of a large operating winter ski domain. Contact the venue for the intended date before booking skiing, equipment or lessons. A village stay can include mountain scenery and locally confirmed winter activities, but access to a high hiking destination is a separately planned outing.

Ceahlău mountain routes
Separate guided or independently planned mountain outings; airport vehicles do not reach the summit.
Piste difficulty: Confirm the actual snow activity and equipment offered for the date. A summer coaster or tubing listing does not establish a beginner alpine-ski facility in winter.
After the transfer: Book the Durău hotel or park entrance, not Ceahlău summit. Confirm the actual winter activity and return pickup; mountain hiking transport is a separate arrangement.
Piste totals describe the area named above; they are not a count of runs. Lift access and open pistes depend on the date and weather. Official ski-area information and map ↗ Resort details ↗
