About skiing in Andermatt
Andermatt has a gentler connected direction toward Nätschen, Gütsch and Sedrun, plus the separate Gemsstock mountain. The advertised 180-plus-kilometre figure belongs to the wider Andermatt+Sedrun+Disentis product, not to one lift base. Choose the ski side and pass before arranging a rental or lesson meeting point; the village station and Gemsstock departure are different arrivals.
Ski areas and terrain
Nätschen / Gütsch
Access from the village toward the connected mountain network.
Gemsstock
Separate uplift with more demanding mountain character.
Sedrun / Disentis scope
Check the chosen pass, operating links and return journey.
Piste difficulty: Learning terrain and intermediate routes are available in appropriate parts of the connected network, while Gemsstock is better known for demanding skiing. Beginners should choose instruction and a suitable side. Freeride terrain is not equivalent to a groomed marked piste.
Planning your arrival: Andermatt village, the Gütsch departure and Gemsstock lift base are different final points.
