About skiing in Arabba
Arabba is a compact high village below Porta Vescovo, with links toward the Sellaronda and the wider Arabba–Marmolada domain. Malga Ciapela is a different road base on the Marmolada side. A broad ski-area name can therefore conceal very different hotel arrival points.
Ski areas and terrain
Porta Vescovo
Prominent sector above Arabba with more demanding terrain.
Burz and village-side lifts
Separate access for local runs and onward ski connections.
Marmolada links
Wider high-altitude skiing; check the open route and return plan.
Piste difficulty: The mountain includes demanding marked descents as well as easier alternatives. Check the map carefully if travelling with beginners. High connections and Marmolada excursions need suitable conditions, the correct pass and time to return before lift closing.
Planning your arrival: Ask whether the booking drops you in Arabba village or at a specific property. Malga Ciapela is a different road base even though it belongs to the wider Arabba–Marmolada ski area.
