About skiing in Brundage Mountain
Brundage Mountain is above McCall in central Idaho, with a main ski base separate from the town beside Payette Lake. The resort’s headline terrain area includes an unpatrolled backcountry portion, so it should not be interpreted as an entirely groomed or patrolled piste network. Bear Chair and easier lower runs provide a different experience from upper descents and sidecountry choices. Guided snowcat trips are separate from ordinary lift-accessed skiing and require their own arrangements. Visitors using the McCall shuttle should check the seasonal pickup point, luggage rules and return departure. A Boise airport arrival first needs a complete ride to McCall or directly to the mountain; the local bus does not make the long airport leg.
Ski areas and terrain
Bear and Easy Street
Lower terrain and learning options; verify lesson meeting details.
Main upper mountain
Longer groomed and challenging routes from the main lifts.
Lakeview and boundary terrain
Different exposure and more demanding options; remain within the access rules.
Piste difficulty: Official named-trail mix is 21% easiest, 33% more difficult and 46% most difficult. Treat unpatrolled terrain separately from marked resort runs.
Planning your arrival: A McCall arrival still needs the Brundage mountain leg. Confirm the local shuttle stop and last return or book a direct base pickup.
