About skiing in Candanchú

Candanchú is an established ski base near the Somport corridor north of Canfranc. Pista Grande provides a useful beginner reference, while higher mountain sectors offer different challenges. Astún is a separate neighbouring arrival point; a joint pass or shuttle should not be mistaken for one contiguous ski domain.

Pista Grande

Learning-area reference with its own parking approach.

Mountain sectors

Higher skiing requires an appropriate open lift and descent.

Astún neighbour

A road shuttle can connect the bases on its operating dates.

Piste difficulty: Pista Grande is the natural starting reference for lessons. Choose higher marked terrain after checking the day’s map and conditions; advanced off-piste routes are a separate activity.

Planning your arrival: Select the Candanchú property or Pista Grande learning base. A Canfranc village stop still leaves the mountain climb; Astún is a separate destination.
