About skiing in Davos
Davos Klosters is a collection of six ski areas, not one uninterrupted set of slopes. The approximately 300 km total covers the wider destination, including sectors reached from Klosters. Your Davos station and hotel location matter when choosing which mountain to ski first.
Ski areas and terrain
Parsenn / Gotschna
The large classic area, reached from Davos Dorf or Klosters. Useful for long piste days and varied abilities.
Jakobshorn
Reached from the Davos Platz side; around 55 km of blue-to-black pistes and freestyle facilities.
Madrisa, Rinerhorn, Schatzalp and Pischa
Family-oriented Madrisa and Rinerhorn, relaxed Schatzalp and freeride-focused Pischa provide distinct alternatives.
Piste difficulty: Parsenn is the broad classic ski area with about 97 km of pistes. Jakobshorn has about 55 km from blue to black and is known for freestyle terrain. Madrisa and Rinerhorn are family-friendly; Schatzalp is gentle, while Pischa focuses on freeride rather than a conventional network of groomed runs.
Planning your arrival: Davos Dorf is convenient for Parsenn; Davos Platz is more practical for Jakobshorn. Check your accommodation and local bus connection before choosing a train station.
