About skiing in Engelberg
Engelberg has several distinct access points: Titlis / Trübsee, Jochpass, Brunni / Klostermatte. Titlis and Brunni are separate ski sectors. Accommodation location and the lift or local bus you intend to use matter more than a generic resort address. Check the current piste map and which slopes are open before buying a pass.
Ski areas and terrain
Titlis / Trübsee
High mountain access with weather-dependent upper lifts.
Jochpass
Intermediate mountain pistes and links within the Titlis side.
Brunni / Klostermatte
Sunny family side with distinct valley lift; Klostermatte has beginner facilities.
Piste difficulty: Beginners can start around Klostermatte or designated teaching areas; the higher Titlis side has more demanding and exposed terrain.
Planning your arrival: Engelberg village station is not the Titlis cable-car valley station or the Brunni lift. Check the local bus or hotel pickup after arriving by rail.
