PLAN YOUR SKI TRIP

About skiing in Hafjell

Hafjell rises from Øyer toward higher accommodation and plateau terrain. A valley hotel and a cabin around Mosetertoppen have different transfer requirements. The gondola links the ski day, but guests should check luggage rules and opening hours before treating it as an arrival service. Arrange rental and teaching at the appropriate base for the first morning.

Ski areas and terrain

Valley base / Øyer

Main road arrival, services and initial uplift.

Mosetertoppen

Higher accommodation and another ski-day starting point.

Upper Hafjell terrain

Plan appropriate marked return runs and operating lifts.

Piste difficulty: The network includes learning areas, wide intermediate pistes and more demanding routes, including race terrain. Longer descents need a return route suited to the skier. Upper weather and the final valley run can feel very different, so consult the open piste map.

Planning your arrival: Confirm the valley base, Favn/Mosetertoppen accommodation or the actual cabin. A bus to Øyer does not necessarily deliver you uphill.
