About skiing in Jay Peak
Jay Peak is in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border. Tramside and Stateside are different bases with different lodging entrances and lesson arrangements. The resort also has non-ski activities, so choose an alpine meeting point rather than a generic waterpark address. The tram and upper terrain can be affected by weather independently of the lower slopes.
Ski areas and terrain
Tramside
Tram-side lodging and lift base; confirm the precise hotel entrance.
Stateside
Separate road base with accommodation and lift departures.
Glades and upper terrain
More demanding skiing; follow boundaries and the current operating report.
Piste difficulty: Marked learning routes, intermediate runs and demanding glades; tree skiing is not a beginner shortcut.
Planning your arrival: Choose Tramside or Stateside and the exact hotel. This map ends at Tramside; a Stateside booking needs its own entrance.
