About skiing in Killington
Killington is a multi-mountain Vermont resort with different base lodges, rather than one slope above a single village square. Snowshed and Ramshead are useful starting areas for lessons and easier terrain, while the K-1 sector gives access toward Killington Peak. Bear Mountain has another base and its own character. A trip planned around one lodge can need extra resort transport if your lesson or rental pickup is elsewhere. Pico is operated alongside Killington but is a separate mountain, so combined acreage should not be read as one lift-linked network. Choose runs from the current trail map, watch the lift connections needed for the return to your car or lodging, and leave time for the last base-area shuttle.
