About skiing in Les Gets
Les Gets has access to the local Les Gets–Morzine ski area and the wider Portes du Soleil with the appropriate pass. The local 120 km figure should not be confused with the full cross-border network. Its village location can work well for families, but the best lift depends on the side of town where you stay.
Ski areas and terrain
Les Chavannes
Main family-oriented village departure with access toward the Morzine side of the local network.
Mont Chéry
A separate sector above the village; check lift hours and the return to your accommodation.
Portes du Soleil connections
Wider skiing across French and Swiss resorts requires the appropriate pass and open links.
Piste difficulty: The Chavannes side includes progression terrain and family skiing. Mont Chéry has its own slopes and a different village departure; check the current piste map for blue, red and black runs before choosing a lesson or group meeting place.
Planning your arrival: Ask your accommodation whether Chavannes, Mont Chéry or a ski-bus stop is closest before choosing the coach drop-off.
