About skiing in Méribel
Méribel is central to the linked 3 Vallées. The resort valley’s approximately 150 km of pistes is a different measure from the 600 km of the whole network. The pass choice, lift operating hours and where you sleep determine how much of the domain is practical on a given day.
Ski areas and terrain
Méribel Centre and Chaudanne
A central lift and ski-school meeting area with connections across the Méribel valley.
Méribel-Mottaret
Higher accommodation and lift access toward the upper valley; a distinct road destination.
Mont Vallon and 3 Vallées links
More demanding terrain and inter-valley routes requiring the right pass and open lifts.
Piste difficulty: Beginners can use local learning areas, while confident skiers can head toward Mont Vallon and cross-valley links. Check return lifts carefully if crossing to Courchevel or Val Thorens late in the day.
Planning your arrival: Tell the driver Méribel Centre, Village, Mottaret or Les Allues rather than only Méribel.
