About skiing in Mürren
Mürren sits on a terrace above Lauterbrunnen and has mountain-transport arrivals from the valley. Its Schilthorn sector is separate from the Grindelwald–Wengen ski domain. The station or cableway arrival nearest the hotel can save a long walk with luggage. Plan the ski pass, rental and lesson base around Mürren rather than assuming any Jungfrau arrival is equivalent.
Ski areas and terrain
Mürren village / lower slopes
Local meeting points and learning choices near the village.
Allmendhubel
A separate village-side mountain access.
Schilthorn / upper sector
Higher terrain and weather-dependent uplift need a return plan.
Piste difficulty: Village learning options and marked intermediate routes sit below more demanding high-mountain terrain. The upper sector can be exposed to wind and weather. Choose appropriate open pistes and separate freeride ambitions from an ordinary marked-piste day.
Planning your arrival: Mürren is car-free. Road vehicles end in Lauterbrunnen or Stechelberg; check the last uphill connection and hotel luggage arrangements.
