About skiing in Oberstdorf

Oberstdorf is a rail-served town with several distinct ski areas. Nebelhorn has a town-side departure, while Fellhorn and Söllereck need other local connections. The wider pass also covers sectors across the Austrian border. Choose lodging and the first lesson base before comparing airport transfer stops; a central arrival can still need a bus to the day’s skiing.

Ski areas and terrain

Nebelhorn

Town-side uplift with high-mountain skiing.

Fellhorn

Separate valley approach and local ski bus.

Söllereck / wider region

Another base and cross-border pass scope.

Piste difficulty: Learning facilities and intermediate choices differ by sector, while high Nebelhorn terrain includes demanding routes. Check the appropriate map and open lifts. A multi-area pass does not remove the daily transport needed between separate bases.

Planning your arrival: Choose Oberstdorf centre, a Nebelhorn-side hotel or accommodation toward Fellhorn / Söllereck. The central station does not serve every lift entrance directly.
