About skiing in Ordino Arcalís
Ordino Arcalís lies beyond Ordino and El Serrat at the end of a mountain road. Most village accommodation needs a road journey to the ski base, so a booking to Ordino alone is incomplete. The resort is a separate destination from Pal Arinsal and Grandvalira even when included in a wider ski product.
Ski areas and terrain
Arcalís road base
The final arrival point for skiing, above valley accommodation.
Main marked piste network
Choose the open route appropriate to your ability.
High mountain terrain
More exposed areas; freeride is separate from groomed-piste planning.
Piste difficulty: Marked pistes include learning and cruising options alongside more demanding terrain. Its freeride reputation must not be confused with an easy piste itinerary; unmarked skiing needs suitable skills and local mountain guidance. Check snow, road access and the open lift network before setting out.
Planning your arrival: Ordino village and El Serrat are below the Arcalís ski base. Arrange the final mountain road ride or a confirmed seasonal ski bus; do not assume the national bus reaches the lifts.
