About skiing in Pamporovo

Pamporovo’s slopes spread around Snezhanka in the forested Rhodope mountains. Studenets, Malina and Stoykite provide different ski approaches, while the hotel area is not one compact lift base. Mechi Chal near Chepelare is a separate mountain and should not be added to a local piste total without explaining the wider product.

MARKED PISTESNamed pistes around Snezhanka; use the current resort map to distinguish Pamporovo from Mechi Chal
ALTITUDESnezhanka summit about 1,926 m; lower ski approaches around 1,400–1,500 m

Ski areas and terrain

Studenets

A key ski centre beneath the upper mountain.

Malina and Snezhanka slopes

Different learning and mountain access points.

Stoykite

Another approach with a separate road and accommodation connection.

Piste difficulty: Learning terrain and gentler marked options coexist with intermediate and demanding runs. Ask the school for the exact meeting centre and choose a suitable route back. Hotel shuttles can have guest restrictions, so verify transport between accommodation and the intended ski base.

Planning your arrival: Confirm the actual Pamporovo coach stop and hotel pickup. Studenets, Malina, Stoykite and accommodation farther down the road are separate local destinations.
