About skiing in Pyhä

Pyhä offers alpine skiing beside Pyhä–Luosto National Park, with cabins and services spread beyond the main lift base. Its compact scale can suit a mixed skiing and outdoor holiday, but a coach stop does not necessarily reach an isolated cabin.

Ski areas and terrain

Family slopes

A useful lesson and beginner reference.

Kultakero sectors

Main alpine terrain; choose an appropriate marked return.

Northern slopes

Check the actual lift base and open connections before booking a cabin nearby.

Piste difficulty: Choose the family learning area for first turns. More demanding routes such as Polar and Huttu-Ukko need stronger technique; freeride outings require separate local planning.

Planning your arrival: Send the Pyhä cabin address or lesson-base pin. A main-road coach stop may need another ride in cold conditions; arrange it before arrival.
