About skiing in Saint-Lary

Saint-Lary combines a traditional valley village with skiing above it at Pla d’Adet, Espiaube and the higher domain. Staying in the village gives a different arrival and daily uplift pattern from lodging on the mountain. A coach to Saint-Lary-Soulan is therefore only part of the plan for a slopeside address. The advertised piste total describes the whole domain rather than the terrain beside one accommodation base.

MARKED PISTESAbout 100 km of pistes across the Saint-Lary domain
ALTITUDESki terrain approximately 1,600–2,515 m

Ski areas and terrain

Pla d’Adet 1700

Main mountain accommodation and learning base above the valley.

Espiaube 1900

A separate mountain entrance and access into the wider domain.

Higher Saint-Lary terrain

Longer outings need the correct pass, open lifts and a return plan.

Piste difficulty: Pla d’Adet has accessible learning facilities; higher sectors add intermediate and steeper routes. Match the ski-school meeting point to your lodging and check the return uplift before setting off across the domain.

Planning your arrival: Specify Saint-Lary village, Pla d’Adet 1700 or another booked address. The village gondola/cable car is useful only within its operating hours and luggage rules.
