About skiing in Schladming
Schladming’s four-mountain circuit joins Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. The wider holiday region also includes separate skiing choices. A central station arrival suits some town hotels, while Rohrmoos, Haus and Reiteralm-side accommodation need another local journey. Choose the first lift, rental and ski-school meeting point around the lodging base, then check the open mountain links before planning a long circuit.
Ski areas and terrain
Planai / Schladming
Town-side lift and station arrival.
Hochwurzen / Rohrmoos
Hillside base with different local transport.
Hauser Kaibling / Reiteralm
Separate road arrivals despite the linked ski product.
Piste difficulty: Learning zones, extensive intermediate skiing and steeper marked runs serve different groups. Crossing several mountains requires a realistic return plan. A World Cup association is not a recommendation for a first lesson.
Planning your arrival: Choose Schladming / Planai, Rohrmoos / Hochwurzen, Haus or a Reiteralm-side property. A station arrival in Schladming may need a local bus or hotel pickup.
