About skiing in Semmering

Semmering Hirschenkogel is a compact ski base known for day and evening sessions. Happylift across the road is a separate beginner facility with a separate ticket. The historic Semmering railway makes a car-free trip possible, but the station is below the ski access. Choose the lesson base and return transport around the planned session rather than assuming all Semmering-named lifts share one ticket.

MARKED PISTESAround 14 km at Hirschenkogel, with 13 km advertised for floodlit skiing
ALTITUDEPass-side base beneath Hirschenkogel; separate from Stuhleck

Piste difficulty: Blue, red and black marked pistes offer different challenges. Night skiing requires the current operating calendar and suitable visibility. First lessons may use a separate learning lift, so confirm the booking.
