About skiing in Sestriere
Sestriere is a high village at the heart of Vialattea. Its local slopes sit above the main town and Borgata, with further links toward Sansicario and other network sectors. The advertised 400 km refers to the whole ski network, including other bases, rather than the runs beside a single Sestriere hotel.
Ski areas and terrain
Sestriere main village
Convenient central access for lessons and local slopes.
Borgata
Separate lower accommodation/lift base with its own approach.
Vialattea links
Explore toward neighbouring sectors while leaving time to return.
Piste difficulty: Beginner teaching slopes, broad intermediate runs and race terrain serve different levels. Plan a shorter local day if learning. A long linked tour needs suitable ability, the correct pass and open return lifts; do not depend on a ski connection for an evening hotel arrival.
Planning your arrival: Sestriere centre and Borgata are different drop-offs; identify the nearest stop and hotel pickup.
