About skiing in Sierra Nevada
Sierra Nevada is a high-altitude Andalusian ski area above Granada. Pradollano is the accommodation village, while gondolas reach Borreguiles and the higher skiing. The village itself has upper and lower levels, so proximity on a map may hide an uphill luggage walk.
Ski areas and terrain
Pradollano
Village services and main gondola access.
Borreguiles
Mountain learning and ski-area services above the village.
Higher slopes / Sulayr
Higher marked skiing and freestyle facilities require suitable ability and open lifts.
Piste difficulty: Borreguiles is a useful learning and progression base. Select blue and red routes for experience level; advanced pistes and the Sulayr park require different skills. Consult the daily opening report before choosing high terrain.
Planning your arrival: Specify the Pradollano hotel and upper/lower village location. The mountain coach stop does not reach every apartment; check a local ride or the resort’s urban bus.
