About skiing in Ski Santa Fe
Ski Santa Fe is a day-ski mountain above Santa Fe in northern New Mexico, reached by a climb on NM 475. Staying in the historic city and reaching the ski base are separate parts of a trip. The NCRTD Mountain Trail bus offers a useful seasonal connection, but its city departure, ski-luggage rules and return timetable must fit your plans. Mountain terrain includes progression areas, groomed runs, trees and more demanding upper choices. A city hotel shuttle from Albuquerque does not deliver you to a ski-school meeting point. Leave time to acclimatise, collect rentals and reach the lesson base, particularly after a late airport arrival. Check operating dates and road conditions before committing to the first ski morning.
