About skiing in Stara Planina
Stara Planina’s ski destination occupies specific bases around Babin Zub and Jabučko Ravnište rather than the entire eastern-Serbian mountain range. The official operator describes about 13 km of runs and a gondola access from the hotel area. A property in a valley village can be quite different from a stay beside the ski hotel.

Piste difficulty: The operator describes a mix of grades and a children’s learning area near the hotel. Match the current marked slopes to ability; the higher mountain landmark is not the same thing as a lift-accessible ski summit.
Planning your arrival: Knjaževac is a valley town, not the ski base. Reserve the full climb and identify Jabučko Ravnište, Babin Zub or the actual village property.
