Sunday River is near Newry and Bethel in western Maine. South Ridge, Barker and Jordan are distinct arrivals, and the two resort hotels have different entrances. The breadth of the ski network makes a precise lesson base useful before travel. Local resort shuttles connect selected bases and properties; they are not a direct bus from Boston Logan.
