About skiing in Taos Ski Valley

Taos Ski Valley is in northern New Mexico above the town of Taos, with high-elevation mountain terrain and a distinct ski village. The airport ride from Albuquerque goes through the regional road network before the final climb on NM 150. A town-of-Taos drop-off is not the ski base or a hotel in the valley. The mountain includes learning routes, groomed descents and demanding high-alpine terrain; ridge and upper lift access depend on conditions and operating rules. Plan a gentler first day after travelling from low elevation and confirm where lessons meet. The Blake and other accommodation entrances need their own pickup details. A shuttle described for Taos Regional Airport should not be assumed to include Albuquerque Sunport.

Planning your arrival: Taos town is not Taos Ski Valley. Confirm the NM 150 mountain leg and the correct hotel or lesson meeting point.
