About skiing in Tarvisio
Tarvisio is an Italian Julian Alps ski destination with town-side slopes and the Monte Lussari / Camporosso access. Staying in central Tarvisio and staying beside the Lussari gondola are different arrival choices. The Di Prampero descent is a prominent, demanding run; its race reputation does not make it a beginner slope. Check the operator’s live map and the open connections between sectors when deciding where lessons should start.
Ski areas and terrain
Camporosso / Monte Lussari
Choose this lower gondola base for the Lussari side and confirm its final operating time.
Tarvisio town-side slopes
Useful for local lessons and accommodation; check the exact lift base and open skiways.
Di Prampero
A long sporting descent associated with World Cup racing; check difficulty and closures before committing to it.
Piste difficulty: Learner zones and intermediate skiing are available in the wider area; the Di Prampero descent needs confident skiing and suitable conditions.
Planning your arrival: Tell the driver whether you need Tarvisio town or Camporosso / Monte Lussari. Boscoverde station is separate from both ski-base choices; reserve a local ride if the bus or hotel shuttle is unsuitable.
