About skiing in Trysil

Trysil spreads around a mountain with Turistsenteret, Høyfjellssenteret and other connected ski sectors. The two main lodging sides have distinct coach stops, rental shops and lesson bases. A mountain-wide pass does not mean every cabin is walkable from one arrival point. Choose the accommodation side first, then match transport, lessons and rental collection to it.

Ski areas and terrain

Turistsenteret

A major service and accommodation hub with teaching and activity areas.

Høyfjellssenteret

Higher-side accommodation and its own ski-base services.

Other connected sectors

Check the map and current links before a full mountain circuit.

Piste difficulty: The official maps range from children’s areas and green runs to demanding black slopes. Forest cruising and upper-mountain routes offer different conditions; beginners should plan suitable return routes and avoid following stronger skiers into a steep sector.

Planning your arrival: Choose Turistsenteret, Høyfjellssenteret, SkiStar Lodge or the actual cabin address. Trysil town’s bus station is not a universal slopeside drop-off.
