About skiing in Verbier
Verbier is a gateway to the 4 Vallées network, which includes other villages and around 410 km of pistes in the broader area. A local Verbier sector pass is not necessarily the same as the full-area pass. Lift links and mountain conditions determine which sectors can be skied on a given day.
Ski areas and terrain
Les Ruinettes and La Chaux
Main lift-access sectors from Verbier with a variety of groomed routes.
Attelas and Mont Fort
Higher, more exposed terrain; check weather, avalanche information and lift status.
Bruson and the wider 4 Vallées
Additional sectors reached with the right connections and lift pass; plan a return route.
Piste difficulty: Les Ruinettes and La Chaux provide a mix of pistes, while Attelas and Mont Fort lead to more demanding high-mountain terrain. Marked itineraries and freeride lines should not be treated as easy groomed pistes.
Planning your arrival: Choose the right stop after the Le Châble gondola; a hillside chalet may need a village bus or taxi.
