About skiing in Vogel

Vogel rises above Lake Bohinj and uses a cableway from Ukanc for mountain access. Accommodation around the lake and in Bohinjska Bistrica has different daily transport, while mountain lodging needs a timed uphill arrival. Choose the hotel, cableway and lesson meeting point together before comparing airport transfers. A rail arrival in Bohinjska Bistrica remains separate from the lake-side ski access.

Select suitable open lifts and lesson facilities.

Bohinj valley lodging

Separate bus or road connections from the accommodation.

Piste difficulty: Learning and intermediate choices coexist with steeper marked routes. Natural conditions and upper lift operation affect the day’s circuit. Check the current map and the final cableway before travelling down to valley accommodation.

Planning your arrival: Choose Ukanc, Ribčev Laz, Bohinjska Bistrica or mountain lodging. A bus to Bohinj does not automatically reach the lower cableway or a mountain hotel.
