About skiing in Žabljak/Savin Kuk

Žabljak is the accommodation town and Savin Kuk is its separate downhill ski destination. The town can also suit winter walks and other local activities, while the ski day depends on the actual operating lifts and snow. Use the current tourism and ski-centre information rather than treating an old lift price list as this winter’s offer. A summer viewpoint or summit is not the ordinary vehicle drop-off.

MARKED PISTESCompact Durmitor alpine venue with learning and upper-mountain sectors; verify operating lifts
ALTITUDESavin Kuk road base is above Žabljak’s surrounding plateau; mountain summit height is not a piste total

Ski areas and terrain

Žabljak town

Accommodation and regional coach arrival. Arrange the separate journey to the skiing.

Savin Kuk road base

Use the signed ski-centre entrance for rentals, lessons and road transfers.

Upper Savin Kuk terrain

Check live lift operation, visibility and the return route; a mountain summit label is not a road address.

Piste difficulty: Confirm a suitable beginner area and instruction before booking a first lesson. Upper mountain terrain and any unmarked outing need a different assessment from a short learning session.

Planning your arrival: Give the Žabljak hotel or Savin Kuk base address. A town coach does not include the last ski-centre ride; arrange a pickup before the evening departure gap.
