ARRIVAL CHECKLISTBefore leaving Zaragoza Airport
Zaragoza Airport (ZAZ) lies west of Zaragoza and is a lowland gateway to the Aragon Pyrenees. Aena lists airport bus 505, including a stop at Zaragoza–Delicias intermodal station. Delicias is useful for onward coaches, while the airport itself has no passenger railway platform. Formigal and Panticosa lie in the Tena Valley; Astún and Candanchú use the Jaca and Canfranc corridor. A regional coach may end in a valley town before the final ski-base journey. Check current Avanza departures, the actual mountain stop and separate luggage rules. Seasonal Bus Blanco excursions are useful only when their dates and return conditions match the trip.
- Jaca–Astún services changed operator in April 2026: old Mancomunidad timetables should not be used. For all four resorts, verify the current valley service or reserve the missing mountain leg.
- Confirm the terminal, hotel address and ski luggage before booking.
- Keep enough time between landing and a fixed onward departure.
