COMPLETE TRAVEL GUIDE

How to get from Zaragoza Airport to Astún

Zaragoza Airport to Astún follows the Jaca and Canfranc corridor into the high Pyrenees. A coach to Jaca covers the valley section, not the full lift-base journey. Services from Jaca changed in April 2026, so a saved Mancomunidad timetable is unsuitable for current planning. Reserve the remaining mountain ride unless the current operator confirms a dated connection to Astún.

Select the Astún base parking or accommodation. Canfranc and Candanchú are separate stops; the neighbouring-resort shuttle is not an airport transfer.

Skiing in Astún: areas, altitude and pistes

Astún is a purpose-built ski base beyond Canfranc near the French frontier. The arrival parking, rentals and lessons are at the Astún complex, not in Jaca or Canfranc. Astún and Candanchú offer neighbouring skiing, but their published shuttle is a road connection rather than a ski-through lift link.

MARKED PISTESMore than 50 km advertised by Astún’s ski-school guide; neighbouring Candanchú is separate

Piste difficulty: Use the designated learning area for first lessons, then choose marked pistes appropriate to confidence and conditions. Do not treat the neighbouring resort’s terrain as part of the same beginner route.

After the transfer: Select the Astún base parking or accommodation. Canfranc and Candanchú are separate stops; the neighbouring-resort shuttle is not an airport transfer.
