About skiing in Astún

Astún is a purpose-built ski base beyond Canfranc near the French frontier. The arrival parking, rentals and lessons are at the Astún complex, not in Jaca or Canfranc. Astún and Candanchú offer neighbouring skiing, but their published shuttle is a road connection rather than a ski-through lift link.

MARKED PISTESMore than 50 km advertised by Astún’s ski-school guide; neighbouring Candanchú is separate

Check the seasonal road shuttle and return time independently.

Piste difficulty: Use the designated learning area for first lessons, then choose marked pistes appropriate to confidence and conditions. Do not treat the neighbouring resort’s terrain as part of the same beginner route.

Planning your arrival: Select the Astún base parking or accommodation. Canfranc and Candanchú are separate stops; the neighbouring-resort shuttle is not an airport transfer.
