About skiing in Homewood
Homewood is on Lake Tahoe’s West Shore along Highway 89. The main arrival is near lake level, with skiing rising above the shoreline. The resort advertises public 2026/27 pass products; an old season-closure banner is not an announcement of a full future-winter closure. Confirm the actual opening date, ticket product and operating lifts before planning a first ski day. North and South base arrangements should be matched to your lessons and parking. Check the official trail map and lift status before the first morning. Headline totals describe the ski-area inventory rather than the amount guaranteed open on a particular day.

Planning your arrival: The example map ends at Homewood North Lodge. Match the vehicle or final bus stop to your actual accommodation, lesson and rental collection; another base or town address may need an extra local ride.
