About skiing in Igman
Igman is a winter-recreation area with distinct venues rather than one large lift-linked downhill resort. Veliko Polje is a useful reference for Nordic skiing and outdoor activities; Malo Polje has a separate beginner-oriented layout. Confirm which facility is currently operating and where rentals or lessons meet. Bjelašnica’s Babin do is a different base.
Ski areas and terrain
Veliko Polje
Specify this venue for Nordic and outdoor activity meetings; confirm track and rental conditions.
Malo Polje
A separate learning-oriented winter venue. Confirm actual operating facilities before booking.
Babin do alternative
Nearby Bjelašnica offers a different alpine experience and needs its own transport destination.
Piste difficulty: Cross-country outings and beginner alpine sessions require different equipment and instruction. Ask the operator about current grooming, lift operation where relevant and suitable routes for the group.
Planning your arrival: Give Veliko Polje or Malo Polje explicitly, plus the ski lesson or Nordic-activity meeting point. Confirm rentals, lift operation if needed and the return pickup.
