About skiing in Păltiniș
Păltiniș is a mountain resort above Sibiu. Păltiniș Arena, formerly Arena Platoș, and the older Oncești chairlift area are distinct bases. Staying in the village does not put every lift within an easy ski-boot walk. Confirm the operator, opening day and precise lesson meeting place.

Hotels may lie between or beyond the ski bases and need a local ride.
Piste difficulty: Ask the selected school which learning slope and pass suit the group. A transfer to the Oncești chairlift should not be used as a generic arrival for an Arena lesson.
Planning your arrival: Ask the hotel and ski school for the appropriate line 22 stop. Păltiniș Arena, the Oncești chairlift and the village terminus are separate arrival references.
