About skiing in Romme Alpin
Romme Alpin is a compact Dalarna ski destination outside Borlänge with a ski lodge and substantial day-visitor facilities. Its official overview describes 34 slopes and 14 lifts, including six-seat express chairs. A ski-day bus can work well for an outing from Stockholm, while a flight-led stay needs separate timing and accommodation checks.
Ski areas and terrain
Main ski base and lodge
Use the resort entrance or lodge reception explicitly for the final taxi.
Learning terrain
Choose the beginner meeting point and equipment collection before the ski day.
Upper mountain circuits
Use the current map to select marked runs and the correct return to the base.
Piste difficulty: The mapped slopes span learning and progressively more demanding skiing. Confirm the current open map, rental pickup and lesson base rather than choosing a lift solely because it is nearest the lodge.
Planning your arrival: Borlänge station is not the resort. Specify Romme Alpin’s ski base or Ski Lodge and reserve the final local ride with ski-bag capacity.
