About skiing in Snowmass

Snowmass is the largest of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains in the official 2025/26 acreage baseline. It has its own village and several arrival areas rather than a downtown Aspen base. Elk Camp, Big Burn and the Cirque have different terrain and access; high bowl openings depend on weather and patrol decisions. Beginners should use their booked learning area and lesson meeting point. Check the current trail map and lift report because the historic fact-sheet figures are not a live count of open trails.
